Persona Studio Aurora area Senior Portrait Photographer ~ Professional Photographers Of Colorado’s K.I.S.S. Event
At the first of the year I was asked to be a part of the Professional Photographers of Colorado’s Event called K.I.S.S. (Keep it Simple Seniors). Every year for the past 5 years the PPC has held this event in a number of places around the greater Denver Metro area, and have Photographers at the top of the industry educate and facilitate a hands on learning experience for photographers that live in Colorado. I was asked to speak on two different topics, the use of off camera flash/posing and the topic of in person sales appointments. I always enjoy doing this event its always so much fun and I always make new friends. I just wanted to share some of the Images that I created while there teaching.

Persona Studio: Aurora Senior Portrait Photographer | Persona Viral commercial
A Few weeks ago Persona Studio commissioned Michael Sasser of Sasser Motion to do a behind the scenes Commercial shoot, depicting the Awesomeness of being photographed at Persona Studio. We went to three locations and filmed three different models. I had a blast working with the models and Im sure that the Models had a fantastic time being photographed and filmed all at once! I just wanted to share some of the stills that Michael and I captured while out on our shoot, and Look for the release of the Persona Studio Commercial to air very soon.

Meet Essence, I have been photographing her at Miller’s Dance Studio for the past 5 Years! and now I get to photograph her senior portraits, Yea! Essence is an Student at smoky hill high school. She is involved in many activities such as IB, student government, SADD and other clubs. School is important to her and she works hard to maintain a 4.6 weighted GPA. Outside of school, Dance is a large part of her life. She has danced for 13 years and has a true passion and love for the art. She plans to dance professionally and is also plans to major in math or medicine in college. Here is another throwback to the Class of 2012. This is just a sliver of all the killer images that we created at Caity’s Senior session. She was also one of our persona models for the class of 2012! I have been photographing Caity’s family for many years, but it was before she was an officaly in it. haha if that makes any since at all. You see… I have photographed Linda Zuffoletto-Pridemore’s daughter Amanda, her son Justin and just last month I photographed Linda and Vincent’s wedding, Vince is Caity’s dad.
For a Photographer the biggest honer is to photograph a family for a second time, but with this family I have been there through so many other events and photographic opportunities that I don’t feel like I’m just a photographer or a friend, but more like family! To be honest thats the way I love to build my relationships with my clients, less like just a business transaction and more like a trusting friendship or like a part of the family.

Denver Colorado Portrait Photographer | Food for thought…..
I have been meaning to do this F O R E V E R…….. I still will but… Erin Noie of Erin Noie Photography beat me to it. Thats ok I’m not mad. Erin went to the leading chain printers and got one of her Beautiful color corrected images Printed by Walgreens, Walmart, and Target. The resulst below! Oh and she had her Pro Lab print the image too. This is why it’s a good reason to go to a professional and have the job done right the first time. I just had a situation where I thought that “Eh” I can do that my self and I could do it even cheaper, SO not true! The Transmission just went out on our Jeep. So I’m thinking well I can do that and have it done faster and just as well as a mechanic can… well after calling around and poking and prodding I fond a good reliable place to have my transmission rebuilt for $200 less then me putting in a new transmission and with a better warranty. Whats my point? My point is that yeah you can do things on you own but when it comes to those things that really matter its best to leave it to the Pro’s its what they get paid for. I trust my health to a DR. and I trust my memories and special events to a professional photographer. Not just because I am a Professional photographer but because its what they are good at! I can’t take my own family portrait it doesn’t work so well and those of you that have, know what its like to try to do your own family portrait. The dog is licking its butt, one kid is picking their nose, the other is gazing off into space Mom or dad is frazzled because the kids are not listing and your running back and forth just trying to be in the picture until you trip on the dogs’ leash and fall getting grass stains on your pants and a black eye from hitting the tree. PHOTO SESSION OVER! haha. This has NEVER HAPPENED TO ME, no… Also I trust the pros because it’s what makes the country move forward Most Pros are Small business and Small Business is what propels our wonderful country forward. Sorry for the rant I don’t mean this to be one, Its just my point of view.

Denver Senior Portrait Photographer: Persona Studio | Hannah Santisteven
I Just love to photograph dancers! They can pose so well, from one pose to the next it’s all so fluently. They point their foot perfectly every time. Hannah is a Dancer at Millers Dance Studio, and has been for a very long time. Hannah is also a student at Denver school of the Arts, Majoring in Dance you could pretty much say that this Girl LIVES dance, she plans to go to collage to study dance. I had the Pleasure of photographing one of my biggest source of Inspiration on Saturday! My little princess, Randi-Marie. After almost two months of trying to get a day where I was not booked or she didn’t have something going on, or the weather being really crazy, we finally found some time to get her portrait session done. We started at about 10am and went until almost 3pm straight. We had a great time and it was an awesome time for us to do some father daughter bonding! I Love you my little Princess!
